Nursery Changes - September 2025, based on the Rachel Keeling Site
Globe Primary and Rachel Keeling Nursery Have Amalgamated
As of September 1st, 2025, Globe Primary School and Rachel Keeling Nursery School have amalgamated. This means that Globe becomes a school with two sites and that Rachel Keeling Nursery school closes. However, there will still be a nursery provision on this site as we are committed to providing a quality nursery provision for our local area. What this means, is that Globe's nursery class has moved to the Rachel Keeling site on Bullards Place, Morpeth Street, E2 0PS, which is just 5 minutes away from Gawber Street, where Globe is located.
We now offer a large nursery provision of up to 120 children - a mix of morning and afternoon places for 3 year olds, as well as 30 hour places for all 3 year olds that qualify for these funded places. We also offer a number of morning 2 year old places. In order to provide nursery parents with wraparound childcare, we have a breakfast club on the nursery site from 7 45am (as well as one on the main school site) and through the Bethnal Green After School Club which is based on the main school site, we can also provide after school childcare for 3 and 4 year olds, up to 6pm each day.
If you would like to enquire about a place, pleae email pjones@globe.towerhamlets.sch.uk for advice or please click here to go to Tower Hamlets Admissions website where you can make an application.
More information about the admission process and eligibility for various places can be found on this page of our website: Nursery & Reception Admissions, Catchment Area & Secondary School Applications

A Wonderful Outdoors Space - Our Nursery Garden

Look at our fantastic garden! We are so fortunate to have an incredible outdoor space where children can access challenging learning opportunities. Children need to learn to assess and take risks so they have an awareness of danger and can keep themselves safe: negotiating space and challenging climbing are essential developmental learning blocks which help with brain development. Please come outside when you drop your child off and see how the garden is used.
